Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5589, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Korsberga's Torsten Almkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl-Michael Colin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Almkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Seglora FF's Daniel Hamberg got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Torsten Almkvist notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Seglora FF's Karl-Michael Colin. Karl-Michael Colin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karl-Michael Colin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Almkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Snell in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Michael Colin saved Seglora FF from getting behind. Torsten Almkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Snell in the 18th minute of play forced Seglora FF's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Colin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seglora FF's Karl-Michael Colin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Almkvist in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, one of Seglora FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Seglora FF. In the 26th minute, Leif Lenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Snell in the 28th minute of play forced Seglora FF's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Colin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tommy Snell came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Korsberga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Snell couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Vacker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Hamberg in the 38th minute of play. Daniel Hamberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Daniel Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Korsberga were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Hamberg was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Snell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Karl-Michael Colin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Michael Colin having to interfere. With a little luck, Seglora FF's Karl-Michael Colin got control of the ball when Tommy Snell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torsten Almkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Michael Colin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torsten Almkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. The long shot by Jon Aspengren in the 89th minute really tested Karl-Michael Colin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Gert Hjälm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Vacker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Hamberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Hamberg charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Hamberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Hamberg hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Patrik Utfal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
