The Påarp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Lindmark got free with Niclas Sundberg in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the game, Marc Arvidsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Brandstation's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Påarp the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Arvidsson in the 41st minute of play forced Påarp's goalkeeper Uno Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attila Henter made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Arvidsson couldn't finish the play. When Torsten Abelsson fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Brandstation's protests and gave Torsten Abelsson a yellow card for diving instead. Torsten Abelsson hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Uno Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Arvidsson in the 66th minute of the match.
