After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Allan Käcker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nora's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Käcker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Löfgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Allan Käcker, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 7 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mathias Löfgren was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Peter Asserlindh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nora's Peter Asserlindh got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Peter Asserlindh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GOTHENBURG FOOTBALL CLUB the free kick. Peter Asserlindh hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Hans Stenström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Christer Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Nora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Asserlindh to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Wallin in the 40th minute of play forced GOTHENBURG FOOTBALL CLUB's goalkeeper Mathias Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Stenström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Christer Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Nora's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Åberg came free, but Christer Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Rosén in the 46th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Käcker to strike the kick off in the second half. Felix Örtlund charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Örtlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nora fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! 56 minutes into the game, Tor Nordin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GOTHENBURG FOOTBALL CLUB the free kick. A collision led to Nora getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tor Nordin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nora's zone, Hans Stenström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Forsberg came out of the goal and Hans Stenström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christer Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Daniel Botvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markus Rosén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Forsberg having to interfere. In the 81st minute of the match, Karl Åberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christer Forsberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Markus Rosén received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christer Forsberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Markus Rosén slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 84th minute. If Daniel Botvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
