FC Fortuna XIII's Tobias Fernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Björkkvist in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Svensson in the 7th minute of play forced Garsås's goalkeeper Ture Öman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Garsås getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kjell Ahlin hit a great ball. 9 minutes in the game, Edwin Svensson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ture Öman having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Björkkvist in the 15th minute of play forced FC Fortuna XIII's goalkeeper Tobias Fernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, FC Fortuna XIII's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Strömbom came free, but Tobias Fernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Fernström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Strömbom's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Edwin Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Öman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Björkkvist struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Tobias Fernström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garsås. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fortuna XIII's zone, Dennis Strömbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Fernström came out of the goal and Dennis Strömbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Andreasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ture Öman having to make a save. After a rather tough play, FC Fortuna XIII's Lucas Larsson got a free kick in the 31st minute. 1-0 became the score in the 36th minute when Edwin Svensson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Garsås's zone, Edwin Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ture Öman came out of the goal and Edwin Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjell Ahlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tobias Fernström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Andreasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Öman having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edwin Svensson to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucas Larsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Lucas Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Fortuna XIII's Tobias Fernström got control of the ball when Max Björkkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dennis Strömbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tobias Fernström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Kihlman's late challenge caught a Garsås's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Kihlman helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Fortuna XIII fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Tobias Fernström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Strömbom in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, FC Fortuna XIII's goalkeeper Tobias Fernström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Björkkvist. After 75 played minutes Garsås got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Hybbert. In the 80th match minute, Garsås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Ingemarsson to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Andreasson might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ture Öman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Andreasson ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 85 minutes, Max Björkkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garsås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Björkkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Max Björkkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dennis Strömbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Fernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Strömbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Björkkvist got free with Tobias Fernström in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Garsås booed when FC Fortuna XIII was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Tuliszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute, Anders Zander sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Fortuna XIII's Tobias Fernström didn't even have to move. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
