Södermalm FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elmtaryd Agunnaryd the free kick. After a rather tough play, Södermalm FF's Walter Ahlfors got a free kick in the 14th minute. David Andersson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Sten Dum. But to his dismay, Sten Dum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 23rd minute Elmtaryd Agunnaryd were awarded a corner. Birger Mus went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 25th minute, Sten Dum made a precise shot to the right of David Andersson. Södermalm FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The supporters of Elmtaryd Agunnaryd booed when Södermalm FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Ahlfors didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Birger Mus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Andersson was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Georg Westerberg during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Elmtaryd Agunnaryd fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Sten Dum looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernt Forsberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vidar Mickelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Södermalm FF's Karl-Axel Björk got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 minutes, Bernt Forsberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Södermalm FF and the Elmtaryd Agunnaryd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Södermalm FF got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Forsberg. David Andersson came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Sten Dum. But to his dismay, Sten Dum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Södermalm FF's David Andersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Södermalm FF from getting a goal against them. Södermalm FF were furious when Henry Mikaelsson was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 73 minutes into the match, Birger Mus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Andersson. Södermalm FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Birger Mus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 77thth minute of the game Sten Dum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Södermalm FF's David Andersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 minutes, Sten Dum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elmtaryd Agunnaryd and the Södermalm FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Eric Nyström was substituted for Birger Mus. A collision led to Elmtaryd Agunnaryd getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sten Dum hit a great ball. With his leg David Andersson managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Sten Dum fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th match minute, Södermalm FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Westerberg to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Södermalm FF defense, Sten Dum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Andersson. The Södermalm FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Andersson should have stopped the shot. In the 95thth minute of the game Sten Dum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Södermalm FF's David Andersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Södermalm FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eric Nyström was slow to take the kick. During this time Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Shota Balla to fire away a dangerous shot which David Andersson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot 99 in the game by Sten Dum from a close distance when the talented David Andersson managed to make a qualified save. Södermalm FF's players were relieved. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd played a much better game than Södermalm FF and deserved their victory. The Södermalm FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
