Angels of the North's supporters rose to their feet, but Joakim Sandström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Grau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stig Skager did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Folke Granqvist 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Angels of the North was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Alsike Internazionale FC's Folke Granqvist threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stig Skager, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elias Siöman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angels of the North's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Stig Skager scored to the left of an out of position Folke Granqvist, making the score, 3-0. The supporters of Alsike Internazionale FC booed when Angels of the North was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Wikander didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Elias Siöman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Skager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32ndth minute of the game Joachim Abrahamsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alsike Internazionale FC's Erasmo Grau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Alsike Internazionale FC's Elias Siöman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Folke Granqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Erasmo Grau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Lagerberg in the 46th minute of play. Erasmo Grau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Lagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Lagerberg made the kick off in the second half. Folke Granqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Siöman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Skager recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angels of the North's Folke Granqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Siöman in the 71st minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Daniel Lagerberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erasmo Grau. Daniel Lagerberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. When Stig Skager came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Alsike Internazionale FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Skager couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute Elias Siöman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Granqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Granqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Skager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Siöman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Folke Granqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Stig Skager had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Folke Granqvist. Angels of the North's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig Skager was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After 95 minutes, Brian Morat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alsike Internazionale FC and the Angels of the North players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Brian Morat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
