He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Väddö IK reached it. Ernst Söderberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Michael Stigsson went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mariestad RK's Marcus Lindberg got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Greger Söderqvist made a precise shot to the right of Leonard Nordmark. Väddö IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ernst Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Mariestad RK booed when Väddö IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Biörkquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Gerdberg in the 43rd minute of play forced Mariestad RK's goalkeeper Ernst Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Kjellman was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute of the match, Claes Gerdberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ernst Söderberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adrian Bruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Leonard Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernst Söderberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claes Gerdberg went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Elias Kjellman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute, Elias Kjellman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Väddö IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Väddö IK's zone, Olof Asklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Nordmark came out of the goal and Olof Asklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the game, Thomas Berglund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Väddö IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mariestad RK the free kick. Thomas Berglund hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of Väddö IK booed when Mariestad RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Asklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernst Söderberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Thomas Berglund. Ernst Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Kjellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernst Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Kjellman in the 95th minute of the match. Edmund Beckström might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernst Söderberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmund Beckström ran back to his position shaking his head. Ernst Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Kjellman in the 100th minute of the match.
