Herbert Hellström's late challenge caught a Varnhem IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Hellström helped the player get up and apologised. 13 minutes into the match, Esarp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Lager came free, but Gunnar Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Esarp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Daho Arrache came free, but Gunnar Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Albom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daho Arrache took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gunnar Albom. Gunnar Albom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Esarp IF's Gunnar Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Månsson in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Sven Månsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st play minute Anders Bjurström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gunnar Albom. 0-6. In the 56th minute, Daho Arrache made a precise shot to the right of Gunnar Albom. Esarp IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Inge Lager scored 0-8 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Albom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Esarp IF booed when Varnhem IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Hjortsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Arhenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Hellström in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Varnhem IK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thorben Bergmann was slow to take the kick. During this time Esarp IF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Thorben Bergmann almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Varnhem IK's Aron Arhenius did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Hjortsberg in the 74th minute of play forced Esarp IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Bjurström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 75th playminute. Gunnar Albom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Tunström in the 85th minute. Esarp IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Daho Arrache scored to the left of an out of position Gunnar Albom, making the score, 0-11. In the 91st minute of the match, Sven Månsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gunnar Albom saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Daho Arrache took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Gunnar Albom to make any attempt to save it.
