Esarp IF's Gunnar Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Koch in the 15th minute of play. Anders Bjurström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Gunnar Albom made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Esarp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Månsson came free, but Gunnar Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daho Arrache got free with Gunnar Albom in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Sven Månsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunnar Albom was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Varnhem IK booed when Esarp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Månsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gunnar Albom came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven Månsson slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 26th minute. In the 28th match minute, Varnhem IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Månsson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Esarp IF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rikard Nordlander hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Sven Månsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gunnar Albom. The goal made the score 5-0. 34 minutes into the match, Daho Arrache dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gunnar Albom, 6-0. Gunnar Albom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daho Arrache went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, Daho Arrache dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gunnar Albom, 8-0. After 46 played minutes Esarp IF got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Nordlander. In the 48th minute, Måns Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

Inge Lager scored 9-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Albom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 55 minutes into the game, Herbert Hellström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esarp IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varnhem IK the free kick. In the 55th match minute, Esarp IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Hellström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Månsson in the 56th minute of play forced Esarp IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes Esarp IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anders Bjurström who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in André Hjortsberg heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Esarp IF's Gunnar Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Bjurström in the 60th minute of play. Gunnar Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Månsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Bjurström in the 66th minute of play forced Esarp IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Patrik Kristiansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunnar Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Bjurström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Bjurström in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Esarp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Bjurström came free, but Gunnar Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Esarp IF defense, Daho Arrache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Albom. The Esarp IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Albom should have stopped the shot. Gunnar Albom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven Månsson went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. 84 minutes into the match, Daho Arrache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Albom. Esarp IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daho Arrache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. In the 89th minute, Daho Arrache made a precise shot to the right of Gunnar Albom. Esarp IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. 94 minutes into the match, Sven Månsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Albom. Esarp IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven Månsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Lager in the 97th minute of play forced Esarp IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Varnhem IK fully deserved thier win.
