Esarp IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rutger Vinström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute, Herbert Hellström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esarp IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Hellström got free with Anton Lindberg in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Kristiansson in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Lindberg saved Näsbypark Nuggets from getting behind. Albert Hedvall kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Jonas Fanström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Patrik Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Näsbypark Nuggets's Anton Lindberg got control of the ball when Patrik Kristiansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dennis Pettersson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Gunnar Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Vinström in the 26th minute of play. Herbert Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Anton Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Anton Lindberg, was totally fooled by Esarp IF's Thorben Bergmann, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dennis Pettersson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kalle Odén to make the kick off. After having played for 60 minutes, Patrik Kristiansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esarp IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Kristiansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Näsbypark Nuggets getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Daniel Palmkvist hit a great ball. Albert Hedvall's late challenge caught a Esarp IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Hedvall helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Näsbypark Nuggets getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Albert Hedvall hit a great ball. Thorben Bergmann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anton Lindberg. Näsbypark Nuggets's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Patrik Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Kristiansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Lindberg having to interfere. Carl Nyman struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Anton Lindberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esarp IF. Kalle Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Albom having to interfere. Gunnar Albom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kalle Odén in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Patrik Kristiansson made a precise shot to the right of Anton Lindberg. Näsbypark Nuggets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If Patrik Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Esarp IF had played much better football throughout.
