One of Mariestad RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guttes Pojkar:s goal. The referee gave Guttes Pojkar a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mats Springfält, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mariestad RK's Ernst Söderberg. 1-4. Greger Söderqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guttes Pojkar played a much better game than Mariestad RK and deserved their victory. The Mariestad RK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
