Spectators: 7347 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrik Kristiansson started the match with the kick off. Herbert Hellström scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Nordmark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 minutes of play, Väddö IK's Claes Gerdberg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Albom was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute Elias Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenneth Axelsson's late challenge caught a Väddö IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenneth Axelsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Väddö IK booed when Esarp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esarp IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Albom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Esarp IF's Patrik Kristiansson in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Väddö IK's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Kristiansson in the 27th minute of play forced Väddö IK's goalkeeper Leonard Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Väddö IK's goalkeeper Leonard Nordmark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Nyman. In the 34th minute, Carl Nyman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esarp IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Carl Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Herbert Hellström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Leonard Nordmark made a huge save. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Karl-Michael Stigsson fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Väddö IK's protests and gave Karl-Michael Stigsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Väddö IK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Stigsson. Patrik Kristiansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Leonard Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Väddö IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Vennerkvist to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Kristiansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Leonard Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonard Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Hellström in the 61st minute of play. Gunnar Albom came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Väddö IK's Elias Kjellman. But to his dismay, Elias Kjellman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 67 minutes into the match, Måns Hermansson notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Väddö IK's Leonard Nordmark. Leonard Nordmark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrik Kristiansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonard Nordmark having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Dan Aleberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Patrik Kristiansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Nordmark was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claes Gerdberg got free with Gunnar Albom in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Thomas Berglund came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Väddö IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Berglund couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Elias Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Esarp IF's Edgar Pyrtek got a free kick in the 90th minute. Martin Biörkquist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gunnar Albom. Esarp IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 93 minutes in the game Åke Falk did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dan Aleberg. The Väddö IK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
