With 7 minutes on the clock, Pontus Wallin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Hillared:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bro FF:s goal. Michael Östlund shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 12th minute of the match Henrik Hermansson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Vennerkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sebastian Vennerkvist came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Bro FF's Egil Lindholm. But to his dismay, Egil Lindholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Hillared defense, Egil Lindholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Vennerkvist. The Hillared fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Vennerkvist should have stopped the shot. With his leg Magnus Vennerström managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Hillared's Sven-Erik Skoog fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sebastian Vennerkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Bjurström in the 26th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Henrik Hermansson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Vennerkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sebastian Vennerkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Lindholm in the 40th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Egil Lindholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Vennerkvist was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wictor Juhlin to strike the kick off in the second half. Magnus Vennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Erik Skoog in the 56th minute of the match. Wictor Juhlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bro FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil Lindholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Vennerkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egil Lindholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Sebastian Vennerkvist made a huge save. With a little luck, Hillared's Sebastian Vennerkvist got control of the ball when Egil Lindholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bro FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
