Joar Alebäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Sven Västberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximilian Hellbom's late challenge caught a Norrlandsfotboll FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximilian Hellbom helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sandared IK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Maximilian Hellbom hit a great ball. Sven Västberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joar Alebäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Sven Västberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Willig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Norrlandsfotboll FC got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Svanberg. Sandared IK's Örjan Willig got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joar Alebäck in the 33rd minute of play forced Norrlandsfotboll FC's goalkeeper Sven Västberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joar Alebäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandared IK's Örjan Willig got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joar Alebäck took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Västberg. Sven Västberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joar Alebäck made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Örjan Willig got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Örjan Willig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven Västberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Mårten Westerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Ödman in the 60th minute of the match. If Joar Alebäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Willig got free with Sven Västberg in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Norrlandsfotboll FC's goalkeeper Sven Västberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Örjan Willig. Sonny Carlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sonny Carlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Norrlandsfotboll FC's zone, Joar Alebäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Västberg came out of the goal and Joar Alebäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joar Alebäck in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Västberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alf Hård came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Norrlandsfotboll FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Hård couldn't finish the play. Mårten Westerstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Hård, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Örjan Willig in the 98thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven Västberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Norrlandsfotboll FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sandared IK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
