In the 12th minute Karl-Oskar Brodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Heggert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Oskar Brodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Vinström charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gunnar Vinström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Sporting Björkberg defense, Thomas Byström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Heggert. The Sporting Björkberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Heggert should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Gunnar Vinström could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Tony Johansson however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Karl-Oskar Brodin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Degeberga's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Oskar Brodin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Heggert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Heggert having to interfere. Klas Wickander hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

53 minutes into the match, Alvin Berg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Johansson. Degeberga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvin Berg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gunnar Vinström kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Kalle Glad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Degeberga's Tony Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Glad in the 69th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Degeberga got a freekick which was hit by Magne Jonasson. In the 72nd minute, Degeberga's Thomas Byström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ove Heggert. Ove Heggert yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After 79 played minutes Sporting Björkberg got a freekick which was hit by Allan Uggla. After 83 played minutes Sporting Björkberg got a freekick which was hit by Anders Björkdahl. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Byström in the 86th minute of play forced Sporting Björkberg's goalkeeper Ove Heggert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Björkberg's zone, Karl-Oskar Brodin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Heggert came out of the goal and Karl-Oskar Brodin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, Karl-Oskar Brodin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ove Heggert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ove Heggert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Byström in the 98th minute of the match.
