Viggo Nyberg started the match with the kick off. Gert Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Grubb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulrik Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gert Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Hidingsta IK booed when Ekebäck BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Söderlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, Ekebäck BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Söderlund to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Bremming fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Lundgren having to interfere. Oskar Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Hult, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulf Hult in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oskar Lundgren saved Hidingsta IK from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Bremming got free with Oskar Lundgren in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viggo Nyberg hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Gert Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viggo Nyberg in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Ekebäck BK's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Grubb came free, but Gert Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ekebäck BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Dalgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 42 minutes, Viggo Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hidingsta IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viggo Nyberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Hidingsta IK booed when Ekebäck BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Bremming didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Grubb in the 57th minute. Gert Bergqvist made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Leonard Grubb sent off a good shot on target. Hidingsta IK's Leonard Grubb was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmund Dalgren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gert Bergqvist. That made the score 1-3 in the 66 minute of play. In the 68th minute, Hugo Bremming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Hult's late challenge caught a Hidingsta IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulf Hult helped the player get up and apologised. Leonard Grubb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Bergqvist having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Ekebäck BK's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Nyberg came free, but Gert Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Hugo Bremming notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Hidingsta IK's Oskar Lundgren. Oskar Lundgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oskar Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Söderlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Viggo Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leonard Grubb came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Hidingsta IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Grubb couldn't finish the play. Gert Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hidingsta IK played a much better game than Ekebäck BK and deserved their victory. The Ekebäck BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
