Spectators: 7317 (Terracing: 5450, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torgny Nyström took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Katrineholms AIK's Felix Söderqwist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexander Åhman. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. In the 7th minute Erland Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Madej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanek Madej took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Katrineholms AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. Axel Norström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tanek Madej. Katrineholms AIK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Olsson in the 17th minute of play forced Katrineholms AIK's goalkeeper Tanek Madej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inge Magnusson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Tanek Madej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Olsson in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Katrineholms AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Landin came free, but Tanek Madej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Madej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Björnsson in the 26th minute of play. Börje Björnsson struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Tanek Madej didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palm BK. 29 minutes into the match, Josef Olsson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Katrineholms AIK's Tanek Madej. Tanek Madej was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tanek Madej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Olsson in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Katrineholms AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Söderqvist to maneuver through the defense. Felix Söderqwist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alexander Åhman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanek Madej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Björnsson in the 46th minute of the match. The supporters of Palm BK booed when Katrineholms AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erland Landin made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börje Björnsson got free with Tanek Madej in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st match minute, Katrineholms AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Palmkvist to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes Palm BK got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Lindberg. Josef Olsson hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Katrineholms AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Landin came free, but Tanek Madej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Erland Palmkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Björnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Madej having to interfere. In the 74th minute of the match, Erland Landin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tanek Madej was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tanek Madej made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Börje Björnsson sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Katrineholms AIK's Tanek Madej got control of the ball when Erland Landin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Katrineholms AIK's goalkeeper Tanek Madej had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josef Olsson. Katrineholms AIK's Tanek Madej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Landin in the 91st minute of play. If Erland Landin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palm BK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Katrineholms AIK to leave the ground with a draw.
