Brego In Jellit FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rikard Wennerqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lars Kling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greger Bergkvist went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Edvin Skytt in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Kling saved Hillareds IF from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Brego In Jellit FC's zone, Calle Björklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hjalmar Abelsson came out of the goal and Calle Björklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Brego In Jellit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Björklund came free, but Hjalmar Abelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Vennerkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brego In Jellit FC's Hjalmar Abelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Vennerkvist in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some careless play in the Brego In Jellit FC defense, Calle Björklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hjalmar Abelsson. The Brego In Jellit FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hjalmar Abelsson should have stopped the shot. Brego In Jellit FC's Hjalmar Abelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Vennerkvist in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Hillareds IF booed when Brego In Jellit FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Greger Bergkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Hillareds IF's Oskar Malmgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hjalmar Abelsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mats Vennerkvist in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hjalmar Abelsson saved Brego In Jellit FC from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Mats Vennerkvist notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Brego In Jellit FC's Hjalmar Abelsson. Hjalmar Abelsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 83 played minutes Hillareds IF got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Wennerqvist. When Calle Björklund came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Hillareds IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calle Björklund couldn't finish the play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Mats Vennerkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brego In Jellit FC's Hjalmar Abelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Brego In Jellit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Vennerkvist came free, but Hjalmar Abelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
