Spectators: 6100 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Skoghall FK's Wictor Godholm started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivar Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wictor Godholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 4th minute, Michael Henriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Åke Bergman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Jan-Åke Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sune Glanselius took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivar Lundgren. Väderstad IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Michael Henrikssons short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Karl Andreasson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 12 minutes into the game, one of Skoghall FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Väderstad IF's Sonny Westerstrand got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Karl Andreasson. If Michael Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Väderstad IF's goalkeeper Ivar Lundgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filip Öman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Lundgren having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Elias Palmkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skoghall FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Väderstad IF the free kick. Elias Palmkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Karl Andreasson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ivar Lundgren came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Skoghall FK's Filip Öman. But to his dismay, Filip Öman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Skoghall FK booed when Väderstad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wictor Nordal didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Skoghall FK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Filip Öman hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Väderstad IF's Ingvar Eriksson got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ivar Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Öman in the 48th minute of the match.

52 minutes into the match, Skoghall FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Damm came free, but Karl Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Jonathan Jespersson had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Christer Fransson fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skoghall FK's protests and gave Christer Fransson a yellow card for diving instead. Väderstad IF's Robin Lindholm was substituted for Jonathan Jespersson. A collision led to Skoghall FK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Christer Fransson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Väderstad IF's zone, Filip Öman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Lundgren came out of the goal and Filip Öman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Rickard Damm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Väderstad IF's Rickard Damm suffered a concussion in the 65th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 66 played minutes Skoghall FK got a freekick which was hit by Sune Glanselius. Robin Lindholm's late challenge caught a Skoghall FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Lindholm helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skoghall FK booed when Väderstad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ingemar Hellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skoghall FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingemar Hellkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Lundgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 93 played minutes Väderstad IF got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Eriksson. Wictor Nordal hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
