Kjell Clementsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Brun having to interfere. Malmö Torpedos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Olof Pedersson 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Markus Wik's late challenge caught a Juniorer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Wik helped the player get up and apologised. 39 minutes into the match, Juniorer's Evert Pihlwall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl Biörling narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Karl Biörling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Pedersson in the 91st minute of play. When Arne Sandberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Despite being the better team, Malmö Torpedos failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
