Spectators: 6050 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) FC Freij's Vilgot Biörnberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Vilgot Biörnberg came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the FC Freij fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilgot Biörnberg couldn't finish the play. Constantino Baraquiel was a little too slow when Mattias Nykvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. FC Freij's Edwin Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Magnusson in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Joey De Boel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siggalidens FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joey De Boel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Olof Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siggalidens FF's Anthon Falk got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Siggalidens FF booed when FC Freij was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Rang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Dag Svensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siggalidens FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bengt-Rune Öberg in the 31st minute. Joey De Boel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Edwin Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Freij defense, Wilhelm Olsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edwin Ahlroht. The FC Freij fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edwin Ahlroht should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Siggalidens FF's goalkeeper Constantino Baraquiel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edwin Ahlroht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joey De Boel, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 minutes, Måns Lindholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Siggalidens FF and the FC Freij players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

60 minutes into the game, Wilhelm Olsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Edwin Ahlroht was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute Vilgot Biörnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Baraquiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin Ahlroht made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilhelm Olsson in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Bergfelt during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 70 minutes into the match, FC Freij's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Olsson came free, but Edwin Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes FC Freij got a freekick which was hit by Henry Bergfelt. Edwin Ahlroht stood somewhat misplaced when Wilhelm Olsson came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 72 minute. If Wilhelm Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Wilhelm Olsson sped through FC Freij's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edwin Ahlroht. Edwin Ahlroht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Olsson in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwin Ahlroht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilhelm Olsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Edwin Ahlroht when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Simon Stenström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilhelm Olssons short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Edwin Ahlroht to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Siggalidens FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
