Al Nassr's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by FC Kurdish Warriors. The supporters of FC Kurdish Warriors booed when Al Nassr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agne Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dime Jankulovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Sander in the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. August Kling was the one to do the kick off. Al Nassr's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 84th minute, Isac Christoffersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oihan Arribas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Wictor Hagström made a huge save. If Joel Sander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Alfred Eklund in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Al Nassr's Jimmie Mårtensson. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Kurdish Warriors had played much better football throughout.
