Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Johan Hedlund took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, Siesta Key FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. When Malmö Torpedos's Karl Wästerberg in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With his leg Håkan Kullgren managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Siesta Key FC's André Lilja fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 26th minute, Siesta Key FC's Johan Hedlund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Håkan Kullgren. Håkan Kullgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johan Hedlund in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Kullgren saved Malmö Torpedos from getting behind. When Tobias Wennerlund fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Siesta Key FC's protests and gave Tobias Wennerlund a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Siesta Key FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tobias Wennerlund hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Siesta Key FC's Per Sandberg got a free kick in the 31st minute. André Lilja who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Håkan Kullgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Karl Wästerberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henning Josefsson was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Henning Josefsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Wästerberg in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl Wästerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Wennerström during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Siesta Key FC's André Lilja got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Malmö Torpedos's Karl Wästerberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henning Josefsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 76 minutes into the game, Karl Wästerberg lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Henning Josefsson. If Karl Wästerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johan Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Johan Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siesta Key FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Hedlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Håkan Kullgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt Lindholm hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Karl Wästerberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henning Josefsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl Wästerberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 90th minute. If André Lilja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malmö Torpedos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
