Juniorer's Thor Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Sandström in the 3rd minute of play. Fritz Apelqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Thor Brun made a huge save. Thor Brun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thor Brun made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Lars Kuse sent off a good shot on target. Michel Sandström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Thor Brun made a huge save. In the 15th minute of the match Venga Boys got a corner. Juniorer's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Klas Sandell ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 19 minutes, Evert Pihlwall made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venga Boys's Joseph Joensson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tim Sjödin struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Joseph Joensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juniorer. Georg Bryngelsson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Thor Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Sandström in the 24th minute of play. Michel Sandström scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thor Brun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thor Brun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lars Kuse showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 28 minute of play. Fritz Apelqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Thor Brun made a huge save. Jonny Mogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Brun having to interfere. Thor Brun was a little too slow when Michel Sandström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-1. 45 minutes into the match, Juniorer's goalkeeper Thor Brun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Kuse. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Mogren in the 46th minute of play forced Juniorer's goalkeeper Thor Brun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evert Pihlwall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fritz Apelqvist struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Thor Brun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venga Boys. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Michel Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venga Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Sandström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thor Brun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Venga Boys's Michel Sandström in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juniorer's goalie prevented a goal. After 89 played minutes Juniorer got a freekick which was hit by Evert Pihlwall. When Evert Pihlwall got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Juniorer. Venga Boys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
