Real Madrid City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Oskar Linquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norrtälje IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalle Vase was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvin Säv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The long shot by Börge Bruhn in the 85th minute really tested Otto Benett's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A hard shot 86 in the game by Sven-Oskar Linquist from a close distance when the talented Otto Benett managed to make a qualified save. Norrtälje IF's players were relieved.
