After a defensive mix-up in Mustalainen Lahti FC's zone, Kåre Nordal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Bagge came out of the goal and Kåre Nordal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustalainen Lahti FC's Thomas Bagge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Linquist in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Sven-Oskar Linquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mustalainen Lahti FC's Thomas Bagge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th match minute, Real Madrid City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Nordal to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Kåre Nordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Bagge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Öberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Bagge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Real Madrid City were awarded a corner. Lars-Erik Sigfridsson went to the cornerflag to take it. When Sven-Oskar Linquist in the 75th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Thomas Bagge kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-9 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole.
