When Alf Bocklund fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IF Eksjö Fotboll's protests and gave Alf Bocklund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, IF Eksjö Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Bocklund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Busk in the 39th minute of play forced IF Eksjö Fotboll's goalkeeper Håkan Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håkan Hägg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FC Vincent booed when IF Eksjö Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Hultman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Kruuse in the 80th minute of play forced IF Eksjö Fotboll's goalkeeper Håkan Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håkan Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Busk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, FC Vincent's Joel Lindholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Håkan Hägg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After 88 played minutes IF Eksjö Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Ekrot. Ingemar Hjortsberg hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in IF Eksjö Fotboll's zone, Christian Busk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Hägg came out of the goal and Christian Busk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Vincent's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
