Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Alvin Bergdal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Bagge having to make a save. In the 18th minute Gilbert Grönlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Bagge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Axel Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Fagerberg in the 19th minute of play. Jan-Olof Harman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Karl-Axel Olsson made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Vidar Rang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Tim Bengtsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harmånger BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gilbert Grönlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Olof Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Axel Olsson having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Mustalainen Lahti FC got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Asserlind. In the 38th match minute, Mustalainen Lahti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Asserlind to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mustalainen Lahti FC's Vidar Rang got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Thomas Bagge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Grönlund in the 44th minute of the match. Thomas Bagge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Bengtsson in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Harmånger BK's Gilbert Grönlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Bagge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thomas Bagge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Snell, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Snell to strike the kick off in the second half. Edward Collin charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edward Collin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Harmånger BK got a freekick which was hit by Edward Collin. Viggo Colin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Axel Olsson. Harmånger BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Harmånger BK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tim Bengtsson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Harman in the 63rd minute of play forced Harmånger BK's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Harmånger BK's Gilbert Grönlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Bagge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Harmånger BK booed when Mustalainen Lahti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidar Rang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Bengtsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Harmånger BK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Harmånger BK's Tim Bengtsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomas Bagge. That made the score 0-2 after 73 minutes of play. Karl-Axel Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Harman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Måns Myhr struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Thomas Bagge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harmånger BK. If Tim Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mustalainen Lahti FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Harmånger BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
