In the 5th minute Filiph Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörn Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörn Glad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Markus Ekgren went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jörn Glad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Ekgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fyrktorget FK's zone, Karl-Johan Ahlquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Enström came out of the goal and Karl-Johan Ahlquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Markus Ekgren struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jörn Glad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fyrktorget FK. In the 13th match minute, Otterbäcken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Alberg to maneuver through the defense. Jörn Glad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Almqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fyrktorget FK booed when Otterbäcken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Valler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Adam Aspengren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otterbäcken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Aspengren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Otterbäcken's Adam Aspengren got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Ove Berggren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fyrktorget FK's goalkeeper Henrik Enström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Otterbäcken's Jörn Glad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiph Stenman in the 36th minute of play. Petter Almqvist's late challenge caught a Otterbäcken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petter Almqvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Fyrktorget FK got a freekick which was hit by Petter Almqvist. Adam Aspengren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrik Enström having to make a save. In the 46th minute Jan Wennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörn Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Wennersten was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Otterbäcken booed when Fyrktorget FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiph Stenman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sven-Ove Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 played minutes Fyrktorget FK got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Lindkvist. If Adam Aspengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Aspengren in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrik Enström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Wennersten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Jörn Glad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 78 minutes of play, Otterbäcken's Adam Aspengren made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrik Enström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Wennersten got free with Jörn Glad in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute, Filiph Stenman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Matthias Ödmann had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Jan Wennersten's late challenge caught a Otterbäcken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Wennersten helped the player get up and apologised. Otterbäcken made a substitution. Harry Stor replaced Matthias Ödmann. In the 89th minute, Jan Wennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Adam Aspengren came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Otterbäcken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Aspengren couldn't finish the play. Otterbäcken's Jörn Glad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Otterbäcken from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Fyrktorget FK's Jan Wennersten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jörn Glad. Jörn Glad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Otterbäcken players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
