When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Gustaf Hellgren sped through LBK Gottfridsberg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andy Granberg. A collision led to LBK Gottfridsberg getting a freekick after 40 minutes play.
