Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Patric Alströmer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Veberöd's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Almqvist came free, but Villiam Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Blasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric Alströmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes of play, IFK Ribba's Marko Almqvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Villiam Olsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! IFK Ribba's Jorge Blasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric Alströmer in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Thomas Fagrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Ribba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veberöd the free kick. Thomas Fagrell hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Patric Alströmer struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jorge Blasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veberöd. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Nilsson in the 27th minute of play forced IFK Ribba's goalkeeper Jorge Blasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Vacker got in the 30th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Jorge Blasco. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-1. After 32 played minutes IFK Ribba got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Tunberg. Marko Almqvist struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Villiam Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Ribba. Marko Almqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Villiam Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veberöd's Sven Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, IFK Ribba's Marko Almqvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Smed in the 56th minute of play forced IFK Ribba's goalkeeper Jorge Blasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Blasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Ingemarsson's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veberöd's goalkeeper Villiam Olsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched IFK Ribba eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
