Lammhult BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Östen Duset was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lammhult BK's Johannes Siöman got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Lammhult BK's Johannes Siöman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henric Ahlkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lammhult BK's Hans Nyberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fritz Holmstedt, made in the 62nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Siöman in the 67th managed to get into a good position. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johannes Siöman couldn't finish the play. Leif Lund fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 91st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Siöman in the 93rd minute of play forced Lervik IF's goalkeeper Henric Ahlkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lammhult BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lervik IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
