Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ove Billström kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes in the game, Johan Dalström fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Henric Ahlkvist having to interfere. Lervik IF's Josef Häll got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Pelle Törnqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lervik IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Pelle Törnqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olle Hellkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Ove Albäck in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olle Hellkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josef Häll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes, Mats Adelsköld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tving FK and the Lervik IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mats Adelsköld hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Stig-Ove Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Olle Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ove Billström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henric Ahlkvist having to make a save. In the 36th minute, Mats Adelsköld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tving FK! Fritz Holmstedt placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig-Ove Albäck to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lervik IF booed when Tving FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Vidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Stig-Ove Albäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Ove Billström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henric Ahlkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tving FK's Olle Hellkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Tving FK from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, Tving FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Jakobsson to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tving FK! Tving FK's Ove Billström got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Johan Dalström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Henric Ahlkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd match minute, Tving FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Vennerlund to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Johan Dalström struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Henric Ahlkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tving FK. When Daniel Karlsson came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Lervik IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Karlsson couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tving FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lervik IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
