In the 10th minute of the match Kungssten Kings got a corner. Sir Ruuds Revansch's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matthias Carlsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jörgen Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sakarias Jelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Ove Asmundsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sakarias Jelm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sir Ruuds Revansch's goalkeeper Sakarias Jelm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osvald Alin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agne Söderström in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Ludvig Bergfeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matthias Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Sir Ruuds Revansch's Olof Bergman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvald Alin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ludvig Bergfeldt struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Sakarias Jelm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kungssten Kings. Matthias Carlsson's late challenge caught a Sir Ruuds Revansch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthias Carlsson helped the player get up and apologised. Matthias Carlsson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Sir Ruuds Revansch's Olof Bergman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Osvald Alin but with some difficulty. After 39 played minutes Sir Ruuds Revansch got a freekick which was hit by Agne Söderström. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Granqvist during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Granqvist hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Kungssten Kings's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Ingvall came free, but Osvald Alin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Robin Ånger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sir Ruuds Revansch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Ånger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute of the match Frans Helström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvald Alin skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Kungssten Kings were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tage Lövgren was the one to do the kick off. Kåre Andberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patric Ingvall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vincent Olsmann kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Robin Ånger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvald Alin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Söderström in the 64th minute of play. Karl-Ove Asmundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Karl-Ove Asmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludvig Bergfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sir Ruuds Revansch's zone, Karl-Ove Asmundsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakarias Jelm came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Asmundsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kåre Andberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sir Ruuds Revansch's Sakarias Jelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Asmundsson in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Sir Ruuds Revansch's goalkeeper Sakarias Jelm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludvig Bergfeldt. Kåre Andberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakarias Jelm having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Sir Ruuds Revansch got a freekick which was hit by Bo Alrot. Kungssten Kings's Kåre Andberg got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kungssten Kings's Michael Galle got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ludvig Bergfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakarias Jelm having to interfere. Kungssten Kings's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
