Syrianska FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Björck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Ståhlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Mattias Björck got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Gråbo FC defense, Sven-Arne Viklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frans Ståhlberg. The Gråbo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frans Ståhlberg should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Rudolf Martinsson in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gråbo FC's Jarl Ekberg. The Syrianska FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Syrianska FC's Sven-Arne Viklund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Sven-Arne Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Syrianska FC's Mattias Björck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frans Ståhlberg. Frans Ståhlberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Frans Ståhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Arne Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ramzi Le Douarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Salvador Rioja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jens-Ola Engman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anders Josefsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Frans Ståhlberg made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Sven-Arne Viklund made the kick off in the second half. Frans Ståhlberg came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Syrianska FC's Sven-Arne Viklund. But to his dismay, Sven-Arne Viklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Sven-Arne Viklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mattias Björck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Ståhlberg having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Alex Tănăsie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mattias Björck struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Frans Ståhlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Syrianska FC. Mattias Björck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Ståhlberg having to interfere. Syrianska FC's Jens-Ola Engman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Syrianska FC from getting a goal against them. After 90 played minutes Syrianska FC got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Ödman. A hard shot 92 in the game by Alex Tănăsie from a close distance when the talented Jens-Ola Engman managed to make a qualified save. Syrianska FC's players were relieved. Salvador Rioja might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens-Ola Engman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Rioja ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Gråbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Björck came free, but Frans Ståhlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Mattias Björck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Ståhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Syrianska FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
