Svante Berglund kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lycke's goalkeeper Egon Kiempe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Viktor Ahlbeck lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Egon Kiempe. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Marcus Rolandsson took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Egon Kiempe to make any attempt to save it. Pelle Bollström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Kiempe having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Viktor Ahlbeck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egon Kiempe. Lycke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viktor Ahlbeck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viktor Ahlbeck made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Viktor Ahlbeck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egon Kiempe. Lycke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viktor Ahlbeck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 58 minutes into the match, Lycke's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Ahlbeck came free, but Egon Kiempe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egon Kiempe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus Rolandsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Egon Kiempe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Viktor Ahlbeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. IK Zenith's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
