Våxtorp BK's Conny Kilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Kielstedt in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Thomas Müller made a precise shot to the right of Conny Kilberg. Våxtorp BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Tristan Jarry was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lars-Erik Brander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 26 minute of play. Thomas Müller took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conny Kilberg. Conny Kilberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Conny Kilberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Kielstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conny Kilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Almqvist in the 40th minute of the match. Royal Arsenal's Tristan Jarry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Brander in the 41st minute of play. If Joacim Öberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conny Kilberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Müller went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Conny Kilberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Botchia Alania in the 53rd minute. Gilbert Höijer's late challenge caught a Royal Arsenal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilbert Höijer helped the player get up and apologised. Gilbert Höijer hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Christopher Broman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conny Kilberg skillfully saved the ball. In the 58th minute of the match, Thomas Müller got a very nice opportunity to score, but Conny Kilberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 59 minutes into the game, Royal Arsenal's Mustapha Bessou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 65th minute of the match, Viggo Almqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Conny Kilberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 66 minutes into the game, Thomas Müller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Conny Kilberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Thomas Müller made a precise shot to the right of Conny Kilberg. Våxtorp BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Olov Kielstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Conny Kilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conny Kilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Botchia Alania, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Thomas Müller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Conny Kilberg made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Kielstedt in the 79th minute of play forced Våxtorp BK's goalkeeper Conny Kilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Våxtorp BK's Conny Kilberg got control of the ball when Thomas Müller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Conny Kilberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 95 minutes into the match, Våxtorp BK's goalkeeper Conny Kilberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Müller. Conny Kilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Kielstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Våxtorp BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Royal Arsenal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
