An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Trianes in the 43rd minute of play forced Harlösa's goalkeeper Marc Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jens-Ove Säv fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harlösa's protests and gave Jens-Ove Säv a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Jens-Ove Säv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Melberg charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Melberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Harlösa's Martin Melberg got a free kick in the 91st minute. IK Zenith's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
