But to his dismay, Robert Alström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Robert Alström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Oliver Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Mellin came free, but Oliver Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenal FC's Oliver Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Alström in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Gothia AIS's Dan Löfgren made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 48th minute Robert Alström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Gothia AIS were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evert Fristedt made a kick off. Hampus Stensson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Arsenal FC's Oliver Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Löfgren in the 56th minute of play. Dan Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute of the match, Robert Alström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oliver Forsberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Robert Alström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oliver Forsberg. That made the score 0-9 in the 87 minute of play. With a little luck, Arsenal FC's Oliver Forsberg got control of the ball when Dan Löfgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gothia AIS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
