The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michel Morat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Myhr in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Calle Stockton made a precise shot to the right of Michel Morat. GRAPPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of GRAPPA booed when Gimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Bock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calle Stockton in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Morat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Emil Björklund in the 20th minute of play forced GRAPPA's goalkeeper Michel Morat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Calle Stockton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Morat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 24th minute Calle Stockton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Morat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Calle Stockton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GRAPPA's Michel Morat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, GRAPPA's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Rönn came free, but Michel Morat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gimo getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Torsten Myhr hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calle Stockton in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. John Pettersson made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Alexander Vik sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calle Stockton to strike the kick off in the second half. Michel Morat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calle Stockton's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Calle Stockton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Michel Morat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calle Stocktons short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Michel Morat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Michel Morat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Stockton in the 58th minute of the match. Nils-Emil Björklund hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. John Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Larsson in the 61st minute of the match. Michel Morat came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gimo's Nils-Emil Björklund. But to his dismay, Nils-Emil Björklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. GRAPPA's Pär Strömberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gimo. Michel Morat was a little too slow when Torsten Myhr got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 74th minute Sören Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Torsten Myhr kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michel Morat. That made the score 0-8 in the 75 minute of play. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Calle Stockton sped through GRAPPA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michel Morat. Calle Stocktons short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Michel Morat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Michel Morat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Michel Morat came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Gimo's Calle Stockton. But to his dismay, Calle Stockton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Gimo's Isak Rönn got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Calle Stockton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Morat was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
