But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Wallander couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Djävlar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Boman came free, but Joacim Asserlind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Arvid Vassenius in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hedesunda's Sten Boman. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evert Levander made a kick off. Evert Levander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joacim Asserlind having to make a save. Evert Levander hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, Hedesunda failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
