The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, FC Piçkinder's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Käller came free, but Sigvard Enegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Rune Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Ahlberg having to interfere. Kent Gustavsson scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carl Ahlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Kent Gustavsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Alex Kristiansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Piçkinder's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Kristiansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Ahlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Karl-Oskar Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nora FF's Kurt Åhlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kent Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Ahlberg having to interfere. Måns Hellgren lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 38 minutes into the game, one of Nora FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carl Ahlberg went to the wrong direction when Magne Blomqvist was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Kent Gustavsson took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Carl Ahlberg to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Åhlberg to make the kick off. Bengt-Rune Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Carl Ahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59th play minutes Kent Gustavsson shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Carl Ahlberg and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Oskar Hedlund during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Piçkinder's Per-Oskar Hedlund got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Sandberg in the 67th minute of play forced Nora FF's goalkeeper Carl Ahlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Nora FF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Oskar Ros came free, but Carl Ahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torbjörn Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigvard Enegren having to make a save. In the 78th minute, FC Piçkinder's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Torbjörn Käller fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 80 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Sandberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Piçkinder's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nora FF the free kick. The supporters of Nora FF booed when FC Piçkinder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Fogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Torbjörn Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Oskar Ros scored 5-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carl Ahlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 95 minutes, Bengt-Rune Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Piçkinder's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Rune Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Piçkinder's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
