Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) Skälby FK's Peder Frisck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zebastian Asplund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Frisck in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Skälby FK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Georg Eskilsson hit a great ball. After 11 minutes, Vilhelm Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skälby FK and the Vurrbo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walter Björkqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Lapurdi in the 14th minute of play. Ingmar Forsberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Björkqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingmar Forsberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl-Ove Broberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Björkqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Karl-Ove Broberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vurrbo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Ove Broberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ingmar Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Walter Björkqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Segundo Lapurdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vurrbo's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Lapurdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Björkqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ingmar Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Skälby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Lapurdi came free, but Walter Björkqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skälby FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Segundo Lapurdi scored to the left of an out of position Walter Björkqvist, making the score, 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Ingmar Forsberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Walter Björkqvist. The goal made the score 2-0. Walter Björkqvist came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Vurrbo's Ingmar Forsberg. But to his dismay, Ingmar Forsberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 45th minute Per Låsberg suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Verner Njurenius fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skälby FK's protests and gave Verner Njurenius a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Ingmar Forsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vurrbo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingmar Forsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Björkqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingmar Forsberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingmar Forsberg in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Björkqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walter Björkqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Forsberg in the 58th minute of the match. Zebastian Asplund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Frisck in the 62nd minute of play. Walter Björkqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Lapurdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Karl-Ove Broberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Walter Björkqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Skälby FK's Peder Frisck got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walter Björkqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Forsberg in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Stellan Blixt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, Ingmar Forsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Walter Björkqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jens-Ola Mellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skälby FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ola Mellberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zebastian Asplund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Vurrbo's Zebastian Asplund got control of the ball when Jens-Ola Mellberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vurrbo had played much better football throughout.
