The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henry Hellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigvard Ambjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigvard Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Henry Hellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Täfteå IFK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Harald Caspersson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigvard Ambjörnsson in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Hellbom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertil Collin during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bertil Collin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Täfteå IFK's Karl Källberg got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Ove Andreasson made a precise shot to the right of Henry Hellbom. Täfteå IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Evert Lindell kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Bertil Collin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Alegren having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigvard Ambjörnsson in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 31st minute, Karl Källberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Hellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Åman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Sigvard Ambjörnsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Täfteå IFK's Henry Hellbom. Henry Hellbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 40 minutes of play, Balrog FC's Ove Andreasson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Hellbom was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ove Andreasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Hellbom having to interfere. The Täfteå IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Balrog FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Czeslaw Niewiadomski was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Balrog FC got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Dalman. Täfteå IFK's Czeslaw Niewiadomski got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Täfteå IFK's Henry Hellbom got control of the ball when Robert Åman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sigvard Ambjörnsson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Henry Hellbom 64 minutes into the match. A collision led to Täfteå IFK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Ahlstedt hit a great ball. Ove Andreasson took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Hellbom. Henry Hellbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Täfteå IFK's Sven-Edvin Ahlstedt pulled a muscle in his leg after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 86 minutes, Sigvard Ambjörnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balrog FC and the Täfteå IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Sigvard Ambjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Sigvard Ambjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balrog FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigvard Ambjörnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Hellbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Hellbom was a little too slow when Sigvard Ambjörnsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-6. Robert Åman struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Henry Hellbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balrog FC.
