Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alf Eliasson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Torbjörn Kollberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Tommy Ekrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alf Eliasson charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Eliasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fatburen IF's Alf Eliasson got a free kick in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Bettna's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Eliasson came free, but Bo Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fatburen IF booed when Bettna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Tingelholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fatburen IF's Tomas Lundhberg got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fatburen IF's Tomas Lundhberg in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bettna's goalie prevented a goal. Bo Axelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Lundhberg went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the game, Alf Eliasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bo Axelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Lundhberg in the 28th minute of play forced Bettna's goalkeeper Bo Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Eliasson took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bo Axelsson. Bo Axelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Bo Axelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bettna's Gabriel Höijer got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tomas Lundhberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bo Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Eliasson in the 40th minute of the match. Alf Eliasson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Jonathan Tingelholm's late challenge caught a Fatburen IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Tingelholm helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bettna's Jonathan Tingelholm got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Bettna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fatburen IF were winning 0-3.

56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bettna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Lindgren was slow to take the kick. During this time Fatburen IF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joel Lindgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bettna's Bo Axelsson did a great save. Alf Eliasson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Torbjörn Kollberg put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Ekrot. During the 69th minute of the match Jonathan Tingelholm completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jonathan Tingelholm a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 70 played minutes Bettna got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Tingelholm. Bo Axelsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vilhelm Danielsson. Torbjörn Kollberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Ekrot having to interfere. In the 79th minute Alf Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bettna's Bo Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Eliasson in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Bettna's Valter Gerdberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Ekrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Bettna getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Torbjörn Kollberg hit a great ball. Fatburen IF's Alf Eliasson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tomas Lundhberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Bo Axelsson made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Bettna's goalkeeper Bo Axelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Lundhberg. Tomas Lundhberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bo Axelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The Fatburen IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fatburen IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
