Daniel Viklund made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Thomas Browall sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Basualdo got free with Daniel Viklund in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wrexham A.F.C.'s Daniel Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Browall in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Roger Koch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wrexham A.F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blunts United the free kick. Roger Koch hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Daniel Viklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Browall in the 23rd minute of play. When Sven-Ove Jelm came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Wrexham A.F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Ove Jelm couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Oscar Christoffersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Bror Utter in the 27th minute really tested Daniel Viklund's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Oscar Christoffersson's late challenge caught a Blunts United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Christoffersson helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Viklund was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bror Utter. In the 30th match minute, Wrexham A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Utfal to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Viklund made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Mariano Basualdo sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Henrik Pihlgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wrexham A.F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Ove Jelm made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Mariano Basualdo made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Viklund. Wrexham A.F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 62nd minute Magnus Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Viklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Viklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Fredrik Lenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Viklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Abrahamsson in the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Magnus Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Viklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Oskar Lundin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Bror Utter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Christoffersson got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Blunts United booed when Wrexham A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Christoffersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Blunts United's Mariano Basualdo in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wrexham A.F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Blunts United's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Koch came free, but Erik Malmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bror Utter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Viklund. Wrexham A.F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Blunts United's Erik Malmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Pihlgren in the 80th minute of play. Wrexham A.F.C.'s Daniel Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Abrahamsson in the 86th minute of play. Henrik Pihlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
