Patrik Hellsing made in the 2nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Harald Runeberg however managed to control. When Ivan Igelström came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Banana Juicers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Igelström couldn't finish the play. Banana Juicers's Vilhelm Kjellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Barck in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Harald Runeberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Banana Juicers's Rudolf Brodin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, BK Södra's Maximino Totakoxe got control of the ball when Ivan Igelström tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ivan Igelström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kalle Bivall during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Kalle Bivall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, BK Södra's Rickard Örnberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vilhelm Kjellbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Olle Barck put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vilhelm Kjellbom. 40 minutes into the match, Banana Juicers's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Örnberg came free, but Vilhelm Kjellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ragnar Eriksson fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banana Juicers's protests and gave Ragnar Eriksson a yellow card for diving instead. Vilhelm Kjellbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olle Barck went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rickard Örnberg was the one to do the kick off. Björn Holmgren scored 0-4 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilhelm Kjellbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luke Shaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Vilhelm Kjellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björn Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Banana Juicers made a substitution. Ivar Pilblad replaced Ivan Igelström. After 63 minutes, Holger Höijer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banana Juicers and the BK Södra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Banana Juicers got a freekick which was hit by Holger Höijer. In the 74th minute, Patrik Hellsing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vilhelm Kjellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Barck in the 78th minute of the match. Rickard Örnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Banana Juicers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kalle Bivall in the 81st minute. Banana Juicers's Kalle Bivall was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximino Totakoxe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 90 minutes into the game, Ivar Pilblad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banana Juicers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Södra the free kick. After 90 played minutes Banana Juicers got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Pilblad. With a little luck, Banana Juicers's Vilhelm Kjellbom got control of the ball when Björn Holmgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Banana Juicers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Pilblad to maneuver through the defense. Vilhelm Kjellbom came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by BK Södra's Alou Anstett. But to his dismay, Alou Anstett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The Banana Juicers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BK Södra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
