New Vae City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Brander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Ove Lövgren in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Samuelsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 61 minutes into the match, New Vae City's goal looked a bit too open when Algot Brask came free, but Hugo Samuelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to New Vae City getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Aleksander Bjursell hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Sven-Ove Lövgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
