When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Roger Persson sped through Gillhov UFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 魏坚泉. Arman Finsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio De Lellis in the 22nd minute of play. 魏坚泉 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Hernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of Gillhov UFC booed when Killinge Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Bremming didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Arman Finsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Martin Engström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gillhov UFC and the Killinge Rangers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Gillhov UFC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Engström. Ralf Sundström hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Kjell-Arne Hernström struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. 魏坚泉 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killinge Rangers. In the 41st minute, Kjell-Arne Hernström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arman Finsberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Engström in the 46th minute. The Gillhov UFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Killinge Rangers were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Engström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ferruccio De Lellis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Finsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Asplund hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes in the game Eddie Strömbom got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The supporters of Killinge Rangers booed when Gillhov UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Bolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Gillhov UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Sundström to maneuver through the defense. Roger Persson's late challenge caught a Gillhov UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Persson helped the player get up and apologised. Roger Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Arman Finsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio De Lellis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Killinge Rangers's Kjell-Arne Hernström got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Kjell-Arne Hernström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 魏坚泉 was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 96th minute of the match Gillhov UFC got a corner. Killinge Rangers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karl-Oskar Wester ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Gillhov UFC's Ferruccio De Lellis to fire away a dangerous shot which Arman Finsberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Ferruccio De Lellis put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Arman Finsberg. Killinge Rangers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
