The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lindesberg RK's Christer Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Sundström in the 4th minute of play. Christer Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio De Lellis in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Engström in the 8th minute of play forced Lindesberg RK's goalkeeper Christer Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Martin Engström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lindesberg RK's Christer Fredriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christer Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Westerstrand in the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Jon Westerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christer Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Sundström in the 14th minute of play. Lindesberg RK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ingvar Damm in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute Ingmar Grönlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Ingvar Damm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 魏坚泉 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 29th match minute, Lindesberg RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 孟霆冰 to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Lindesberg RK's Ingvar Damm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 魏坚泉. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ingvar Damm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lindesberg RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Damm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 魏坚泉 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When 孟霆冰 was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. In the 48th match minute, Lindesberg RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 孟霆冰 to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Engström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gillhov UFC's zone, Per-Arne Östlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 魏坚泉 came out of the goal and Per-Arne Östlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Westerstrand in the 57th minute of play forced Lindesberg RK's goalkeeper Christer Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Engström in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Gillhov UFC's Ingmar Grönlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christer Fredriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Sebastian Vennerdal struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. 魏坚泉 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lindesberg RK. In the 75th match minute, Lindesberg RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Sigfridsson to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes of play, Gillhov UFC's Ferruccio De Lellis made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christer Fredriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Christer Fredriksson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jon Westerstrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Christer Fredriksson made a huge save. If Karl-Magnus Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gillhov UFC made a substitution. Björn Bäckström replaced Martin Engström. Lindesberg RK's Christer Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Sundström in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingmar Grönlund got free with Christer Fredriksson in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claes Sigfridsson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
